Fantasy Survivor Series Card #2
This week I go into the four on four format with the current WWE roster. I will admit that this was so far the hardest card to come up with as far as teams and partners. Some were easy, some were harder then I had expected. Some new wrestlers got added onto the show, some got taken off but let’s see how you liked it. Here is my second fantasy Survivor Series card for 2016.
Cenation: John Cena (Captain), Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns vs. The Club: AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows
The main event was pretty easy to come up with, just wasn’t sure at first if Finn Balor should be used for this situation, but then I realized that what if I used Finn Balor as the Demon to help with the Club. That would make this a very interesting main event match and you have everybody paired off with a particular member of the team. The possibilities of how this match ends could be endless.
The Showoffs: Dolph Ziggler (Captain), Cesaro, Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. The A-Listers: The Miz (Captain), Sheamus, Jimmy & Jey Uso
This is an interesting matchup with eight really talented wrestlers. With Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows busy being in the main event, I wanted to take the next best heel tag team going at this moment which happens to be Jimmy & Jey Uso. Continue the story that right now seems like will never end and at this point in a good way with Cesaro and Sheamus but the key to this match are the respective team captains. Between Dolph Ziggler and Miz you couldn’t ask for two better captains to lead a team then these two. A fun and entertaining match that would get everybody’s attention.
The Underdogs: Sami Zayn (Captain), Randy Orton, Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. Fight Team Fight: Kevin Owens (Captain), Chris Jericho, Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman
I would imagine some of you are surprised that Kevin Owens who is the current Universal champion is in the middle of the card. With the roster being so stacked and so good it’s not a bad move to have Owens in the third match. Plus you have a compelling story of Sami Zayn facing Kevin Owens one more time but this time in elimination form. Coming up with Sami Zayn’s team was perhaps the hardest part of the entire card because I’m sure some would want Randy Orton as the team captain which he would fit the role but he doesn’t have quite the history with Owens as Zayn does. You could almost have a Survivor Series 1989 situation where Hulk Hogan was the team captain and he was facing Zeus who wasn’t a captain, which we have here with Sami Zayn and Braun Strowman. Plus you have great support wrestlers in the mix with Jericho, Slater and Rhyno with the last two fitting the underdog name tag perfectly. An interesting match that could take place.
8-Bit New Day: TJ Perkins (Captain), Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods vs. Bully Locks: Brian Kendrick (Captain), Rusev, Simon Gotch & Aiden English
If I didn’t have the New Day on this card then I would have a big problem with my self as a fan of booking. You need these three men on this show but I didn’t want to use one of them as the team captain so it was an easy choice to make TJ Perkins the captain of the team. Plus with the connection of video game love between Perkins and Woods along with Kingston and Big E you could have an entertaining team. The other team isn’t too bad either. Brian Kendrick would be a manipulative team captain who with his words could lead the team to victory. Rusev, who almost got left off the card needs to be in a match where he could look good and this would be the match to do this. Plus, with the Vaudevillians being added to the mix you have a unique group of wrestlers on one team.
The Bosses: Sasha Banks (Captain), Becky Lynch, Bayley & Nikki Bella vs. Natural Selection: Charlotte (Captain), Alexa Bliss, Dana Brooke & Carmella
The women’s match was perhaps the easiest match to create. While some talented women had to be left off of this show these eight are right now the perfect eight to be featured as a women’s elimination match. Sasha Banks and Charlotte with the big egos would be perfect team captains and wouldn’t take lip from anybody. Like the main event, each person on this match would fit each other with the rivalries going on at the moment. How could this match end? That’s why it’s called fantasy anything can happen.
So, do you like this second card? If you do or don’t let me know in our Facebook group. This is the last of the fantasy Survivor Series cards with the current WWE roster as next week will begin the first of the two cards featuring the WWE Hall of Fame. I will be going to the four on four format for this card, stay tuned to see how it looks and what shapes out.
